As I write this I just returned from a weekend trip to the Minneapolis area where I did a seminar for Terry and Shari Beaudoin of Parrot Island - one of the absolute best bird shops in the world! I couldn't stay longer because of my PBR deadline but I had a wonderful time enjoying their incredible hospitality!

My Sunday seminar lasted from 9 to 5 so I was worried ahead of time that I wouldn't have the stamina to do such a long seminar anymore-after all, I am older than when I first started doing this. But the audience was fantastic and, like an empathetic parrot, I picked up on the energy and kept going. I was excited to have several attendees who were only thinking of getting a parrot and wanted to do their homework first.
