Face & Body Wash: 16oz (replaces 14oz. Cleansing Gele' - same product) We recommend diluting the Cleansing Gele' at a rate of 1 tablespoon per 32oz (1 Quart) of purified water. We also recommend only diluting/mixing as much as you will use up in 5 days or less as well as storing it in a dark place (such as a cupboard) after it is diluted. This product is very cost effective as its dilution rate makes it last a long time!
We use and recommend this product for cleaning everything we use with companion birds including: cages & carriers (both acrylic or metal), crocks and food bowls, perches, toys, etc... It is also what clean/sterilize the floor of our store daily as well as what we have customers clean up with before handling our birds.
This product is not only an outstanding cleaner but, at the dilution rate mentioned above it has been shown to completely inactivate Avian Polyoma Virus effectively. This encapsulated virus is probably the most difficult to inactivate of the potentially contagious diseases that we see in companion birds!
