This lamp is excellent!!! I purchased a full spectrum lamp at the suggestion of my Vet to aid in the recovery of my 13 year old Senegal Parrot, who is currently has a sore wing and is unable to fly due to her loss of several wing feathers. My parrot loves the light from this lamp and looks forward to the hours that it is on. The lamp was shipped very quickly, was simple to put together, and is of very high quality. The Parrot Island staff and web site were very helpful with this purchase, providing an on line link to an article on the proper use of the lamp generally, as well as phoning me immediately after my purchase with a recommendation on how many hours each day the lamp should be used for my specific bird.
