The prices listed for products do not include shipping fees or sales tax when applicable.
Shipping costs will be detailed in the shopping cart when you place an order. All products ordered from us will be shipped via UPS or the Postal Service. It will generally be 2-10 business days for standard ground delivery depending on where you are located. A number of other delivery options are available in the shopping cart section of the website. If you would like an alternative shipping method not currently offered in the shopping cart - please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will let you know if that shipping method is available.
We can almost always completely fill all orders, however we can not guarantee availability of every product at all times. We will ship all in-stock items to expedite your order. We will contact you in regards to the unavailable items which will be placed on back-order. We will ship any item(s) ASAP upon there arrival in our store - unless notified otherwise by you.
In case of lost or damaged items due to shipping, contact the shipper directly to file a claim. You must keep all original packing materials and paperwork until your claim is satisfied. Let us know if you receive a damaged item, and, if possible, we will try to assist in the resolution of your claim with the shipper.
In the event an item must be returned, please call Parrot Island at (952)928-9985 for return authorization. Parrot Island will not be responsible for return shipping fees. Authorized items must be returned within 10 days of receipt. The product must be properly packaged to ensure safe and undamaged return of the item. Parrot Island reserves the right to determine if a refund, replacement item or store credit will be issued in regard to returned merchandise.
Food items can be returned only if they are unopened. Toys made completely of plastic, rubber or metal (or a combination of these) can be returned if unused and in new condition. However, for the protection of your birds and ours, we can not accept returns on porous items (which can not be sterilized). Some examples would be products made with wood, rope, leather or cloth - these are NOT returnable.
